Devin Zeisset

Devin Zeisset is a financial advisor at Oregon Insurance & Financial Services. He was born in Cleveland and grew up in Brunswick, Ohio.

After graduating high school, he joined the United States Marine Corps and served on active duty for five years. He felt military service calling me after he watched, on a TV rolled into my elementary classroom, the Twin Towers fall. On the news the next day, he saw the faces of uniformed young men and women boarding aircraft that would take them to an obscure place where they would defend our nation. He knew that he had to be one of those young service members when he was old enough to do so. Devin’s occupation in the Marine Corps was meteorology and oceanography.

After the Marine Corps, he came home and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from The Ohio State University. While attending school, he worked with the university’s athletic marketing department to plan, coordinate, and execute military appreciation games for all of Ohio State’s spectated sports.

While living in Columbus, Devin and his wife, Erin, started discussing the future. They decided it was best to move back to NW Ohio, his wife’s hometown, to be closer to family as they started a family of their own. Erin is a 3rd-grade teacher in Oregon. They have a baby daughter together named Ruth. Erin and Devin love to float around in their canoe, explore, read, exercise, and play Lego Star Wars together. Ruth loves the outdoors, applesauce, and riding on shoulders.
