Scott Tschappat is a wealth advisor with Acute WealthCare, an independent, fee-only wealth management company helping healthcare workers and women in Denver and the Front Range. With over 20 years of experience in the financial industry, Scott is committed to helping clients create a financial plan that brings them peace, security and dignity.

When Scott was just 17 his father died of an aorta aneurism. His Dad had luckily purchased a life insurance policy and when Scott told his Mom to spend some of the money on “whatever”. She replied “Scott, you don’t have the slightest idea how money works. If I spend the principal, then I will have nothing left and I need to live off the interest.” This was Scott’s first lesson in financial planning and being prepared for unexpected challenges in life.

Scott ended up helping his mom manage her money, and one of the things he tells his clients is that he looks at their money like it’s his Mom’s money.

Scott lives in Highlands Ranch with his wife, Bridget, a school counselor at All Souls Catholic School, and their two daughters, Sarah and Emily. He loves sports and has been lucky enough to coach both of his daughters’ basketball teams. In the spring and summer, you can find Scott getting his hands dirty gardening and enjoying live music at Red Rocks or another local venue.
